CofO Piano Studio: Lessons. Duets. Pedagogy. Literature.
There is no "one size fits all" approach to being a piano major and many piano majors are double majors. Sometimes it means growing as a person and pushing yourself to learn performance skills which you will use in other areas of your life. Other times it's to be a better church pianist, or to be able to offer lessons to friends who want to learn piano and ask you to teach them! Sometimes it's just because you know you will need a supplementary income after college and this is one way to make money on the side. Or because you want to play for your own enjoyment and you know this might be the last chance you'll ever have to receive lessons. Any of these reasons are great ones!
